Angry Mwana / Nafuna Avenue

"Nafuna Avenue" (formerly Angry Mwana) evolved from Zimbabwe’s groundbreaking 2015 animated series into an educational mobile game fostering African language and cultural literacy. Originally reaching 4 million viewers with its socially impactful storytelling, the rebranded game now immerses children in interactive adventures where characters like Mwana and Granny Gogo teach indigenous languages, traditions, and problem-solving. This transformation retains the series’ legacy of blending entertainment with purpose while expanding its reach through gamified learning.
