The Couch – “Madam Boss Finally Speaks Out!”

For this standout season finale of the hit digital series "The Couch," we had the opportunity to feature Tyra Chikocho, popularly known as Madam Boss—one of Zimbabwe's most celebrated comedians, actresses, and social media personalities. 

The goal was to peel back the layers of her famous comedic personas and give audiences a raw, authentic look at the woman behind the brand. Nafuna Africa managed the full production, combining intimate sit-down interview lighting techniques with cinematic cutaways and animated segment intros. The episode’s polished direction and seamless pacing elevated the show’s production standards, resulting in a 35% boost in viewership across digital channels and proving that digital talk shows in Zimbabwe can rival traditional broadcast quality.
